Something happened to me on Sunday that I'm still thinking about.

Boulder Creek Coffee (Lawrenceville)
Tucked inside a historic home in downtown Lawrenceville. Couches, fresh-baked pastries, upstairs nooks for catching up with a friend. It feels like walking into someone's grandmother's house — in the best way. Order: the seasonal latte and a warm pastry.
Why I add this coffee spot in particular? When my family and i first moved here over 5 years ago, Boulder was the the spot! For my remote work, for meetings with friends, for the mentor sessions I was giving with young adults. It has a special place in my heart being that it was here long before other shops came in to DTL.
Warm Waves Coffee (Suwanee)
Right near Suwanee Town Square. Bright, calm, beautifully designed — the kind of spot where moms actually want to linger. They roast their own beans and the seasonal syrups are made in-house. Order: the lavender latte. Trust me.

Local on North (Duluth) — Cozy, modern Southern. Beautiful cocktails. Walkable from downtown Duluth.
Fogo de Chão (Mall of Georgia, Buford) — Brazilian steakhouse experience. Endless cuts of meat carved tableside, a stunning market table, and an atmosphere that feels like a celebration. Great for the "we're going all out for Mom" crowd.
