Hey neighbor!

Good things are happening all around Gwinnett — and I don’t want you to miss them.

One of my main reasons for starting Gwinnett Best was because I was personally tired of seeing all the sad and bad news that was being highlighted on social media and news publications of our county.

We also lacked highlighting the amazing places and spots that we all have come to grow and love, whether personally or with our families. Plus highlighting the amazing things that do happen in our county.

So, today’s edition is a little different. We’re doing two things: celebrating the Gwinnett Good List (four stories from this week that will actually make you smile), and spotlighting four of the best multi-restaurant dining spots in the county — not mall food courts, but real community gathering places packed with local flavor.

Let’s get into it!

4 MULTI-RESTAURANT DINING SPOTS YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT

Forget mall food courts. These are Gwinnett’s real community dining districts — spots where multiple restaurants cluster together in walkable, social environments worth exploring with family, friends, or a first date.

From Politan Row Website

Politan Row at The Forum — Peachtree Corners

Gwinnett’s only true chef-driven food hall. Opened in early 2025, Politan Row at The Forum brings seven independent restaurant concepts under one beautifully designed roof: Thai, Indian, Japanese, Mediterranean, Mexican, burgers, and more.

Add Bar Politan for cocktails, a green space, outdoor patio, and free parking. Open 7 days a week. This is the most exciting dining addition Gwinnett has seen in years.

Downtown Duluth — Parsons Alley & Town Green — Duluth

Duluth’s walkable downtown district is one of Gwinnett’s most underrated food destinations. Restaurants, bars, breweries, and coffee shops are stacked side by side along Parsons Alley and the Town Green.

You’ve got Good Word Brewing, Truck and Tap, O4W Pizza, Pure Taqueria, and Rock N’ Roll Sushi all within a short walk. Southern Living has called Duluth one of the best dining spots near Atlanta — and they were right.

Suwanee Town Center — Suwanee

Surrounding the gorgeous Town Center amphitheater, this district is packed with restaurants, patios, and live entertainment year-round. Try Suwanee Social for global bites and craft cocktails, Bottles & Bones for prime meats, Raik Mediterranean for something fresh and upscale, or just wander and let the mood guide you. Food Truck Fridays and weekend concerts make this one of the best family-friendly dining environments in the county.

Downtown Lawrenceville Dining District — Lawrenceville

Gwinnett’s county seat is quietly becoming one of the best dining corridors in the Atlanta suburbs. Perry Street Chophouse, Local Republic, McCray’s Tavern (rooftop included), Slow Pour Brewing, Parkside District, and Athens Kouzzina are all packed into a few walkable blocks around the historic courthouse square. Whatever you’re in the mood for — steaks, craft beer, Greek, Cuban, brunch — Downtown Lawrenceville has it.

THE GWINNETT GOOD LIST: THIS WEEK’S BEST NEWS

Four things that happened in Gwinnett this week that deserve a little applause. Share these with a neighbor who needs some good news today.

1. Collins Hill Cheer Makes History — First-Ever State Championship

The Collins Hill “Hill Yeah” cheer team from Suwanee just made school history, earning their first-ever GHSA State Championship title — and they’re heading to the UCA High School National Cheerleading Championships in Orlando. First Gwinnett team to pull this off. Let’s go, Gwinnett! 🎉

Cayden Liang has been crowned the 2026 Gwinnett County Public Schools Spelling Bee Champion. Watching a Gwinnett kid outspell the room is the kind of thing that makes you proud to live here. Big congrats to Cayden and every family and teacher who helped get him there.

Two Gwinnett County students were selected as 2026 Regeneron Science Talent Search Scholars — one of the most prestigious science competitions for high schoolers in the country. Gwinnett is raising the next generation of problem-solvers, and these two just put the whole county on the map.

4. Gwinnett County Passes a $2.58B Budget — Down $84M from Last Year

Here’s some fiscal good news: Gwinnett County finalized a $2.58 billion budget for 2026 that is actually $84 million lower than the previous year, while still funding a $431 million capital improvement plan. The big win? A critical 911 phone system upgrade. Smart spending for a growing county. That’s the kind of leadership worth celebrating.

That’s a wrap for today, Gwinnett! The Good List is my favorite thing to put together because this county is full of wins that never make the big headlines — but they deserve to.

Cheer championships, spelling bees, science scholars, smart budgets … this place is special. 🤝

And if you’re hungry after reading that dining guide — you’re welcome. Go explore one of those spots this weekend and tag someone who needs to know about it.

P.S. Know a Gwinnett business, person, or story that belongs on the Good List? Hit reply and tell me. I’m always looking for the next thing to celebrate. 👀

Stay amazing out there,
