Hey neighbor!

Got plans this weekend? You do now.

The Atlanta Christkindl Market is happening right here in Lawrenceville โ€” and honestly, it's one of the most festive things you can do in Gwinnett this season.

Think: a traditional German Christmas market with brats, pretzels, Glรผhwein (that's hot spiced wine for the uninitiated), handmade ornaments, local vendors, live entertainment, a 50-foot Ferris wheel, and Santa photos.

Oh, and admission is FREE.

๐Ÿ“… Cultural Event this Christmasโ€ฆ A MUST!

๐Ÿป WHAT TO EAT & DRINK

This isn't your average holiday event food. We're talking:

  • Schnitzel, brats, and German-style potato salad

  • Raclette, pierogies, gyros, and tacos (yes, tacos)

  • Chimney cones, crepes, and Dutch pancakes

  • Glรผhwein, mulled apple cider, and hot cocoa with ALL the toppings

Bring your appetite. And maybe some stretchy pants.

๐ŸŽ WHAT TO SHOP

Over 60 vendors selling:

  • Handmade European ornaments (including Kรคthe Wohlfahrt โ€” if you know, you know)

  • Jewelry, crystals, soaps, home decor

  • Chocolates, baked goods, and local gifts

  • Unique finds you won't see at the mall

๐ŸŽก WHAT TO DO

  • Ride the 50-foot Ferris wheel

  • Snap pics with Santa at the Santa Haus

  • Catch live music and cultural performances

  • Wander, sip, shop, repeat

๐Ÿš— PARKING

Free parking at:

  • Gwinnett Justice and Administration Center (75 Langley Dr)

  • Innovation Square / One Justice Square (446 W Crogan St)

Shuttle runs 10amโ€“10pm on Saturday โ€” so you can park, ride in, and skip the walking.

Rideshare drop-off at Bicentennial Plaza, right across from the Lawn.

Pro Tip: Go early (before 2pm) to beat the crowds, or go later in the evening when the lights are glowing and the vibe is chef's kiss.

This market used to be in Buckhead, but it outgrew its home and moved to Lawrenceville this year. That means one of Atlanta's best holiday traditions is now right in our backyard.

Don't sleep on it. This one's worth the trip.

See you there (I'll be the one with a pretzel in one hand and Glรผhwein in the other),
