Hey Neighbor,
I hope your Tuesday is off to a great start! I don't know about you, but this week is packed with some really fun stuff happening right here in Gwinnett — and I couldn't wait to share it with you.
From a St. Patrick's Day party at a local brewery to a week full of $12 specialty burgers, there's genuinely something for everyone. Let's get into it!

FOR OUR 50+ NEIGHBORS: St. Patrick's Friendly Feud
If you or someone you love is 50+, this one's for you — and it sounds like a blast.
This Tuesday, March 17th, head over to Bethesda Park & Aquatic Center in Lawrenceville for a St. Patrick's Day-themed Friendly Feud. Think Family Feud-style gameplay where you're guessing the most popular survey answers, competing with friends, and trying to make it to the Fast Money bonus round — all while enjoying light refreshments and good company. It's only $4/person (non-Gwinnett resident fees apply), and runs from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
If you've got a parent, grandparent, or neighbor who needs a fun afternoon out, this is the perfect invite to send their way.

BURGER WEEK HIGHLIGHT: Local Republic (Lawrenceville)

Okay, Gwinnett Burger Week is happening right now through March 22nd, and there are $12 specialty burgers at restaurants all across Gwinnett County. I want to spotlight one that I think is worth making a reservation for:
Local Republic in downtown Lawrenceville is serving up The Highlander — a beef and lamb blend seared with garden peas, carrots, onions, a golden beer cheese croquette, and drenched in a rich red wine demi-glace on a pretzel bun. I mean... come on.
This place has serious character. It's right on Perry Street in downtown Lawrenceville, and they do accept reservations — which I'd highly recommend for this week.

⏰ Tue-Thu 11am-10pm | Fri-Sat 11am-11pm | Sun 11am-10pm | Closed Monday
O4W Pizza (Duluth)

You've probably heard of O4W Pizza — they started inside the Perimeter and now have a home right in downtown Duluth, and honestly it's worth the drive. Their Burger Week pick is the Grandma Pie — a thin crust, square-shaped beauty topped with housemade marinara, fresh mozzarella, basil, extra virgin olive oil, and Pecorino Romano. Pro tip: you can order it by the slice at lunch, which makes it a super easy midday stop!

1910 Public House (Lilburn)
If you haven't been to 1910 Public House in downtown Lilburn yet, Burger Week is the perfect excuse to finally go. This place is modern and cool but does classic Southern food really well. They make their own pimento cheese from scratch — and their Grilled Pimento Cheese sandwich stacks that housemade pimento cheese with fried green tomato and bacon on grilled sourdough. It's the kind of thing that stays on your mind for days. I'm not joking.

🎉 WE HAVE WINNERS! The "Unstoppable" Signed Book Giveaway
Okay, I have been looking forward to this moment ALL week.
If you've been following along, a couple of weeks ago I announced a giveaway for 5 personally signed copies of Unstoppable by my dear friend and partner, Nick Vujicic. Nick is one of the most remarkable people I've ever had the privilege of knowing and working alongside — a world-renowned speaker and author who was born without arms or legs and has spent his life showing millions of people around the world that nothing — nothing — can stop a person with faith and purpose. This book has genuinely changed lives, and I was so honored to be able to give away copies signed personally by him right here to our Gwinnett community.
The response was incredible, and I'm so grateful for everyone who entered. Today, I get to announce the 5 lucky winners! 🎊
🏆 YOUR 5 WINNERS ARE:
Cassandra
Mickie
Michael
TL W.
Pamela
Congratulations! I'll be reaching out to each of you directly to arrange delivery — whether that's a personal drop-off, local pickup, or mailed straight to your door.
And if you didn't win this time — don't be discouraged. I love doing things like this for our community, and this definitely won't be the last giveaway. Stay subscribed and stay tuned. 😊
💛 ONE THING BEFORE YOU GO
I started Gwinnett Best because I believe this county is genuinely one of the best places to live in the country — and I want more of us to actually experience it, not just drive through it. Every week, my goal is to hand you something you can actually use: a place to eat, a park to visit, an event to go to with someone you love.
If this email was helpful to you, the best thing you can do is forward it to a neighbor, friend, or coworker who lives in Gwinnett. Let's build this community together, one inbox at a time.

See you next week,
