Hey neighbor!
Happy Monday! How was your weekend? Did you enjoy the snow?
I'm switching things up this week, starting with a special Duluth edition.
Over the past few years, I've absolutely fallen in love with Korean cuisine, and Duluth has become one of my favorite spots in all of Gwinnett County to experience it.
From authentic Korean BBQ to incredible bakeries and boba, Duluth has it all. So today, I'm taking you on a tour of some of the best local spots right here in Duluth, plus a hidden gem mom-and-pop restaurant, a brand-new coffee shop that just opened, a trusted service business, and three events happening this week and weekend.
Let's dive in.

3175 Buford Highway, Duluth, GA 30096

If you're looking for honest-to-goodness Southern comfort food in a warm, no-frills atmosphere, Family Restaurant is your spot. This is a true hidden gem right across from Duluth City Hall, and it's been serving the community with genuine heart and home-cooked meals for years.
The menu is diverse and plentiful with dishes that cater to all ages. You'll find fluffy hot cakes that could easily be the highlight of your breakfast, sausage gravy and biscuits that are absolutely delicious, and a wide selection of omelets including the Sausage and Western. For something heartier, try their side meats like bacon and country ham, or go for the country fried steak and eggs.
This is where the welcome is genuine, the service is great, and the food is especially delicious with fresh ingredients that truly stand out. Whether you're flying solo or bringing the family, you'll feel right at home here.
Pro tip: The hot cakes have that homemade cornbread feel, and locals rave about the sausage gravy.
