Welcome, It’s Thursday!
This week, I'm doing something a little different. Instead of covering all of Gwinnett, I'm zooming in on one neighborhood: Peachtree Corners.
Whether you live there, pass through it, or have been meaning to check it out — this one's for you.
Before we dive in, I just want to let you know that next week we will be doing a special giveaway. So be on the lookout next Tuesday and Thursday.
Let's go! 🍑

NEIGHBORHOOD SPOTLIGHT: PEACHTREE CORNERS
This week's feature digs deep into one of Gwinnett's most beloved cities — a place with a world-class Town Green, incredible dining, Gwinnett's only Trader Joe's, and a community that genuinely feels like a neighborhood.

DINING — NEW & NEWLY DISCOVERED
New to the Neighborhood

Tucked right next to the Peachtree Corners Town Green playground, The Parkside is a brand-new Southern comfort bistro that's quickly becoming a neighborhood favorite. Their hot honey truffle sliders are dangerously good, the fried green tomatoes are a work of art, and the patio overlooks the playground — making it the perfect spot for families. The owners are warm, the vibe is casual and welcoming, and the food is anything but ordinary.

Hidden in Plain Sight

This one has been hiding in plain sight along Peachtree Pkwy and it deserves way more attention. With a menu that spans cream pasta, seafood gumbo, Philly cheesesteak, and yakitori bowls — all under one roof — Stäge is the kind of restaurant that surprises you on every visit. Reviewers consistently rave about the attentive service and the artwork on the walls that makes the atmosphere feel elevated without being stuffy.

COFFEE SHOPS

Giulia Italian Bakery
Sequel Coffee Co. — Your New Favorite Work-From-Coffee-Shop
Sequel Coffee is the neighborhood gem Peachtree Corners didn't know it needed. Think bold, smooth coffee, a cozy fireplace, great outdoor seating, and even a drive-thru window. The staff is genuinely kind (they once wrote a note with a customer's order!) and the Little Debbie Latte has developed a bit of a local cult following. Perfect for remote workers, catch-ups with a friend, or a quiet Saturday morning.
📍 3847 Medlock Bridge Rd Suite 120, Peachtree Corners

Giulia Italian Bakery — Hidden in Plain Sight at The Forum
If you've walked through The Forum shopping center and somehow missed Giulia, it's time to go back. This Italian bakery and coffee shop serves real espresso in glass cups (not paper!), handcrafted croissants, fresh sandwiches, salads, and gelato in flavors you won't find anywhere else. The pistachio croissant alone is worth the trip. Gorgeous, cozy, and surprisingly affordable.

GWINNETT'S ONLY TRADER JOE'S

Did you know that the Trader Joe's located at The Forum in Peachtree Corners is the only Trader Joe's in all of Gwinnett County? Neighbors from Suwanee, Buford, Lawrenceville, and Duluth all make the drive down for it — and for good reason. From the famous Mandarin Orange Chicken and Everything Bagel Seasoning to seasonal specialties, fresh flowers, quality wine, and organic options at prices that are genuinely hard to beat — Trader Joe's is a Gwinnett treasure hiding in Peachtree Corners.
If you haven't been in a while (or ever), this weekend is a great excuse. 🛒

📅 YOUR WEEKEND IN PEACHTREE CORNERS
While the big Town Green concert series kicks off in summer, Peachtree Corners Town Center is always worth a visit this weekend for a relaxed afternoon out. Here's how to make the most of it:
🍽️ Dine on the Green — Grab lunch or dinner at The Parkside, Stäge Kitchen & Bar, or one of the many restaurants surrounding the Town Green and enjoy the open-air atmosphere.
☕ Coffee + a Stroll — Start your morning at Sequel Coffee Co. or Giulia Italian Bakery, then walk the Town Center area or pop into The Forum for some shopping.
🛒 Trader Joe's Run — Make it a family outing and stock up on your favorites at Gwinnett's only Trader Joe's. Pro tip: go early Saturday morning for the best selection.
🛝 Playground + Lunch — Let the kids play at the Town Green playground while you grab a bite from The Parkside right next door. It doesn't get more convenient than that.

NEIGHBOR NEWSLETTER SPOTLIGHT
For Our Realtor Friends & Homeowners — You Need This in Your Inbox
I'm a big believer in lifting up great local voices — and this week I want to introduce you to a newsletter that pairs perfectly with Gwinnett Best, especially if you're in real estate or just love knowing what's coming to your neighborhood before everyone else.
It's called Gwinnett Realty Briefing, and it's one of the sharpest, most well-researched local newsletters in the county. Every Tuesday morning, they break down zoning decisions, school updates, and major county and city projects — the kind of insider intel that helps you understand where Gwinnett is headed before it hits the news.
Recent issues have covered things like Loganville's fast-changing real estate landscape, a new 300-unit apartment community breaking ground near Dacula, and what the Murphy Middle School rezoning means for families across the county. It's smart, specific, and 100% free.
If you're a realtor, investor, homeowner, or just someone who loves staying ahead of what's coming to Gwinnett — I think you'll love it.

Note: This is a neighbor recommendation, not a paid placement. We just think it's great.

And hey — do you have a favorite Peachtree Corners spot I missed? Hit reply and tell me about it. I love discovering hidden gems from the people who actually live here.
WANT TO REACH YOUR GWINNETT NEIGHBORS?
Gwinnett Best is looking for local sponsors.
Here's what makes me different: I reach neighbors, not visitors. My readers are the people who live on your street, shop in your zip code, and support local businesses every week. If you own or operate a business or service in Gwinnett County and want to get your name in front of the people who matter most — your neighbors — I'd love to connect.
Becoming a Gwinnett Best sponsor is simple, personal, and affordable. Just hit reply to this email and say "I'm interested in sponsoring" and I'll reach out to chat about what would work best for you.
With gratitude and community pride,
