Hey Neighbor,

I've got a great one for you today — and this week is one of those weeks where Gwinnett just doesn't quit.

We've got a little bit of everything: a dance night literally tonight, a new coffee shop that's already creating buzz, a free family day at the park, a nationally acclaimed beer fest, and a 5k that will help change lives.

Oh — and I've got a county resource at the bottom that I want to make sure doesn't go unnoticed, because someone in your circle might really need it.

Let's get into it.

My family and I visited Peachtree Corners again, and they finally reopened this beauty…

TONIGHT: COUNTRY LINE DANCING AT SLOW POUR BREWING CO.

If you're looking for something fun to do right now — this is it. Slow Pour Brewing Company in Lawrenceville is hosting Country Line Dancing tonight and honestly, this is the kind of spontaneous Tuesday night that turns into a core memory.

They've got it structured perfectly for all skill levels: start with a Beginners class, step it up with Intermediate, and then it opens into Open Dance and Requests where you can just enjoy the night. All ages and experience levels welcome — so yes, bring the whole crew.

FOR THE KIDS (THIS WEDNESDAY): UN POQUITO DE ESPAÑOL

Here's a gem for parents of elementary-aged kids. The Gwinnett County Public Library is hosting Un Poquito de Español (A Little Bit of Spanish) — a bilingual learning experience with themed stories, games, and crafts designed to make language learning fun and interactive. I love that this kind of program exists right here in our backyard.

NEW LOCAL FIND: KAFEIIN — DULUTH

Okay, I have to tell you about this one because it's brand new and already has a line out the door — and for good reason.

Kafeiin just opened in Duluth back in December 2025 and it is gorgeous. Modern Vietnamese-inspired coffee and dessert shop with a minimalist, clean aesthetic that's perfect for studying, working, or just slowing down with a beautiful drink.

The menu is unlike anything else in Gwinnett right now — Vietnamese coffee with flavored milk foams (matcha, sesame, egg, banana), matcha lattes with different milk foams served as a latte or with coconut water, and specialty drinks like the Salted Cloud Coffee, Strawberry Cloud Matcha, Ube Cloud Matcha, and Sesame Cloud Matcha. The presentation is stunning and the quality is exceptional.

Pro tip: drinks lean a little sweeter — just something to know going in. But the buzz is real and the space is stunning.

🫶 COUNTY RESOURCE: FREE FOOD DISTRIBUTION — GWINNETT COUNTY

I always want to make sure this newsletter is for everyone in Gwinnett — not just those looking for the next fun thing, but also those who might need a helping hand right now.

Gwinnett County is hosting a free mobile food distribution this week at Shorty Howell Park in Duluth. You'll receive fresh and non-perishable food items — no strings attached. Supplies are limited, so arrive early and make sure to clear out your trunk.

If you know someone who could use this — a neighbor, a coworker, a family member — please share this with them. That's what community is all about.

That's a wrap on this edition!

Honestly, every time I put this together it just reinforces what I already know — Gwinnett is one of the most alive, active, generous counties in the entire state. You don't have to look far to find something worth showing up for.

Know someone who should be getting this? Forward it to a neighbor, a friend, or anyone in your circle who's always asking "what's going on this weekend?" Let's make sure they're in the loop.

P.S. — Got a local event, hidden gem, restaurant, or business you think I should feature? Hit reply and let me know. I'm always on the hunt for the next great find to share with this community.
