New Tax Commissioner: Denise R. Mitchell was officially sworn in after receiving over 240,000 votes in November. Welcome to the job!
Schools Making Moves: 20 Gwinnett County schools were named 2024-25 Literacy Leaders by the Georgia Department of Education. Shoutout to our teachers and kids doing the work.
Budget Season: Chairwoman Nicole Love Hendrickson proposed a $2.6 billion budget for 2026. If you've got opinions (and who doesn't?), you can share feedback on the county website.
